SACRED SPORE

Research & Development
Research and development sits at the heart of Sacred Spore. We are continually exploring new cultivation techniques, genetics, and processes that support quality and consistency. And sometimes we just like running experiments that are interesting to us and hope we get useful data out of it. This page will be dedicated to that exploration.

Toad Mak
Toad Mak is a beautiful squatty mushroom recognized by its bell shaped, caramel colored cap. Its a strain we hope to stabilize into something magnificent before we offer it to the public, unfortunately we had some freakish mutations popping up in these tubs which you'll see below.
TOAD MAK?! WHAT HAPPENED?!
These.....beauties popped up in most of the Toad tubs, so we're going back to the original liquid culture and maybe reverting back to our spore database and starting over.

PE7
This is another strain that we played with that showed some promise very early on and will be making its way to our menu shortly! Note the THICK stipes, they look like they are "Hulking" out!
SV10
This strain is a happy little surprise for us. As you can see these fruits get BIG. We're not sure if there will be a market for taking only one giant fungi for a dose (lol), but if so, we'll have it covered! What the pictures aren't able to show is the beautiful silky sheen to the stipes, which if you take a peek, look similar to an oak tree's trunk.
